Privacy Policy

Parsenn Advisers GmbH ("we", "us") operates the Remy platform at remy.swiss. Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy informs you in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG, in force since 1 September 2023) about which data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you register, we collect: your name, email address, company name, and job title. This data is required to provide our service and to perform the contract with you.

2.2 Usage Data

When you use the platform, technical data such as IP address, browser type, page views, and access times are collected automatically. This data is used for security, operations, and improving the platform.

2.3 Company Data (Public Sources)

The company data displayed on the platform comes exclusively from publicly accessible registers: the Central Company Index (ZEFIX) and the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SHAB). This data is not confidential, as it is officially published.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Providing and operating the Remy platform (contract performance)
  • Managing your user account
  • Sending daily alerts and notifications (with your consent)
  • Technical operations, security, and fraud prevention (legitimate interest)
  • Compliance with legal obligations

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We only share your data in the following cases:

  • AI Analysis: For automated company analysis, we use the Claude API by Anthropic (USA). Only public company data is transmitted — no personal user data. The transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (Anthropic Privacy Policy).
  • Email Delivery: For sending password reset links and daily alerts, we use an SMTP service. Your email address and the message content are transmitted.
  • Legal Obligation: When we are legally required to disclose data to authorities.

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship. After termination or deletion of your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days, unless statutory retention obligations apply (Swiss CO: 10 years for accounting records).

Usage logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Passwords are stored exclusively in hashed form (bcrypt). Our servers are located in Switzerland.

7. Cookies

7.1 Technically Necessary Cookies

We use only technically necessary session cookies for authentication and the secure operation of the platform. These cookies are essential for using the platform and do not require your consent.

7.2 Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that operates without personal data and without cookies. No IP addresses are stored and no user profiles are created. No consent is required.

7.3 Marketing Cookies (Consent Only)

For marketing campaigns, the LinkedIn Insight Tag may be used. This cookie enables conversion tracking and retargeting on LinkedIn. It is activated only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time. When activated, data is transmitted to LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.

Currently, no marketing cookies are active. When we begin using marketing cookies, you will be asked for your consent via a cookie banner.

8. Your Rights

Under the DSG, you have the following rights:

  • Access: You may request information about the personal data we hold about you at any time.
  • Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate data at any time.
  • Erasure: You may request deletion of your data, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
  • Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a common machine-readable format.
  • Objection: You may object to the processing of your data on the basis of legitimate interests.
